Munich, Germany – From June 24th to 27th local time, the 27th Laser World of Photonics was held at Messe München. ShengLong Electric showcased its self-developed AI-iPanel, the world’s first artificial intelligence power distribution switchgear, attracting significant attention from global professionals.
Established in 1973 and held biennially, Laser World of Photonics (now in its 27th edition) has become a premier global platform for showcasing cutting-edge photonics technology and fostering industry exchange and collaboration. The exhibition covers all sectors of the optoelectronics industry, including laser technology, optical components, photonics systems, and optical communication technology.
ShengLong Electric’s booth was located within the China’s Optics Valley exhibition area, which featured a concentrated display of frontier technologies, innovative achievements, and industry solutions from the Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone’s optoelectronic information industry. On the opening day, the ShengLong booth drew numerous professional visitors from countries including Germany, Italy, and Japan for in-depth discussions.
At this year’s event, ShengLong Electric presented its flagship products – the AI-iPanel AI-powered medium and low voltage switchgear and the Metaverse-powered digital twin smart building management system iDrip 5.0, among other solutions.
ShengLong staff explained that the AI-iPanel is an intelligent switchgear “capable of speaking, thinking, and self-management,” transforming power operations from an imperceptible “black-box state” into a digitalized and transparent process. By deeply integrating AI technology with power engineering, it significantly enhances power efficiency and safety while substantially reducing operational and maintenance costs, making the user’s power distribution system simpler, more reliable, and more economical.
During a live demonstration of the switchgear’s circuit breaking and closing operations, a local German engineer, closely observing the process, suddenly pointed at the screen and asked, “Is that reaction speed truly mechanical operation? The delay is almost imperceptible!” Staff clarified that the AI-iPanel incorporates millisecond-level intelligent algorithms capable of precisely anticipating power demand.
After a detailed explanation of the product’s innovative structure, intelligent monitoring system, and user-centric interface design, Professor Ye (a German surname) from the Technical University of Munich expressed admiration, giving a thumbs-up and exclaiming to accompanying students: “Made in China!”
A representative from ShengLong Electric stated that as a leading enterprise in China’s smart grid and intelligent energy management sector, ShengLong has frequently appeared on the international stage in recent years, with its products exported to over 50 countries and regions. This debut at Laser World of Photonics in Munich showcased cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements and intelligent power solutions from the electrical industry to global users. It also demonstrated the technological innovation capabilities and commitment to open cooperation of Chinese intelligent manufacturing (“Intelligent Manufacturing – Made in China”) within the smart power sector.
